Budapest is not always on the top of must go-to’s in Europe. However, as an inexpensive and architecturally beautiful city it’s becoming more popular. You can see this city in about 3 days. Here are ways to spend your time in the city:
▪️Thermal baths are very popular, the Széchenyi being the most visited. Though it was too hot for the baths during the summer heat, they also have pools for you to cool down or lay out while sippin’ a beer. Average price for all day entrance is 20 euros.
▪️Ruin Bars are so quirky & fun! It’s a bunch of random pieces of art thrown together in a huge venue holding multiple bars. Szimpla is the most visited. Drinks in Buda range 1.50-5. euros Reasons why people drink until 5am.
▪️Museums of Sweets and Selfies is a fun and cheap way to spend some time in the afternoon. Try to go during the week, avoiding the crowd and better prices. Entrance is 10 euros during the weekdays.
▪️Go on a history tour. There’s a few ways to do this, you can do the HopOn/HopOff bus, as they’re always running or book a smaller group and A/C bus tour through Airbnb Experiences.
▪️Check out Margaret Island. It’s a small island that sits in the middle of the Danube River. Fantastic views of the city and outdoor activities.

Airbnbs average about $30 a night with nice lofts in the downtown area.
