My very 1st time in Europe was definitely a must…
I flew from Mozambique international airport to Madrid with my best friend and I couldn’t ask for more…
We booked a hostel at Booking.com near by Chueca área very well located and cheap… we paid around 15euros ) 💶 that’s they local currency)per night per person for three nights.
From the airport we took a taxi because we didn’t had WiFi by the airport to call a Uber wish is more cheaper.
During this three days we didn’t actually needed a transportation because everything was near by… from the plaza mayor, palazio real, jardins sabatini, the famous cathedral of Almudena, San Miguel market, and Puerta del sol we walked all around. And we also didn’t get to buy a SIM card because everywhere has WiFi. (Except at the airport😂)
The food is quit expensive, you pay around 8/10euros for a sandwich 🥪 and drinks as well… But there’s a nice Chinese food places around with a very nice atmosphere, good food and cheaper.
But for those who like shopping is a very nice place indeed.
Please try to learn some Spanish words before you get there 😂😂 because they cannot speak inglês… As my main language is Portuguese it was easy for us to communicate.
Actually Chueca is a LGBT 🏳️🌈 área you can see lot of flags around the city… So if you are open minded and easy going person you will love it 😍. I have nothing against it so I enjoyed the environment. Don’t forget to sip a Spritz by the Chueca plaza 🤪😉 and walk throw around that smalls roads and hold buildings. There’s a bar called pub crawl nice music lots of tourists and young people 😍.
There’s also lots of bar, restaurants all over the city.
The famous Gran via it’s just 10 min walking from the hostel we stayed.
I really enjoyed it ! It was a life time experience 🙏🏾🤘🏾✍🏾
